Navgraha

Envoys of gods and known by planetary, constellation, and/or star or zodiac-type names, these are they with the beauty of planets and, typically, at least some powers granted them by their respective deities. Physically, they are often blessed with interestingly colored pelts, rings, or a severe star-like glow when night or darkness falls. As per powers, they all have a degree of gravity manipulation (the amount depends heavily on the size of their planet/star/constellation), and the other powers of a Navgraha can often be determined easily by their type:

Star-type: Named after a single star, while they are more likely to be free from connectivity to the deity with which they are associated, they also have the weakest levels of power, stemming from their distance from the centering effects of a connected deity.

Constellation-type: Named after a constellation, these Navgraha have stronger powers than star-types and also typically have a protective aura around them, even during the day, that helps negate or reduce physical damage. They are often depicted as having much larger body sizes than their star-type counterparts, though all typical lupine sizes exist. Some are known to be affected in interesting psychological ways, as they typically have a psychic connection to each of the star-types of their particular constellation.

Planet-type: Named after a planet, their strength is generally higher, but so is their dependence on their particular deity. If a particular planet-type Navgraha’s patron deity is on Vanguard, they will be considered to have a symbiotic relationship that the planetary Navgraha is required to sustain in order to continue to properly utilize their powers. This does not require the planet to be completely dependent on the deity, nor does it require any sort of relationship, friendly or otherwise, beyond the symbiosis. Typically, planets obtain the highest level of powers related to the deity in question, but never more than a portion of what their patron deity can do.

Zodiac-type: Named after an astrological or zodiac sign, these Navgraha are generally between the Constellation and Planet types in power level. While they also have a high dependence on a deity, some zodiac-types have multiple patron deities, allowing for them to accumulate powers from different deities as long as they do their duties to all of the deities they have symbiotic relationships with. The drawback to this is that they can only obtain powers relative to their specific zodiac/astrological sign, and that the accumulative level of all of their combined powers is still relative to the particular zodiac-type’s capabilities for power.

Galaxy-type: Named after entire galactic systems, these Navgraha are actually not joinable and the stuff of legends, like the Sundials of the Navgraha- heavily powerful and able to control entire galaxies including the willpower of individuals under their power and influence, they are known to shift and be omnilingual, amongst other things. These Navgraha cannot be joined.

Lore: Maybe they came from the stars. Maybe they came from the universe. Maybe they just existed, with the kind of powers and associations that some could only dream. But whatever the case, only they know their own unique existences enough to tell you.

Breeding: the only potential hybridizations of Navgraha at this time are with the Akasha Stratum (giving them the looks inherited from their Akasha parent and about 1/10th of the power of their Navgraha parent) or with their Code: Mythos (in other words, if they breed with their respective deity; they will have a 75%-90% chance of inheriting the powers of their parents, typically diminished slightly) patron deity/deities. Appearance traits otherwise have a 35%-40% chance of passing to their children, powers about a 2%-5% chance.
