Q: Can I join a wolf/canid already pregnant?
A: The short answer: yes. There are a few ways to go about this, and a few things to remember, so if you plan to join a wolf already pregnant, please read the rest of this for a better grasp on how to do so.
There are two ways you can go about getting stats for your pregnant wolf's babies: ask for the second parent's stats to be made for you, or make/provide the second parent's stats, yourself. If you decide you would like to have the father's stats made for you, any points that would have been required (such as for female-female parents) will be nullified save for in the case of same-gender male parentage (as it is assumed that if a male and female mate, the male will not be the one getting pregnant; if you so decide to join an already-pregnant male, please make sure to use the appropriate points for the same-gender litter).
If you would like to make the father's stats yourself, but this character isn't going to be brought onto Vanguard, please don't forget to be sure these are provided for your statter. Any points-necessary hereditory traits (such as if you want the father to be a luster wolf, for instance) will still require the appropriate points for one to purchase a "special" litter, and any permission-locked traits (such as player bloodlines) will still require appropriate permissions. Same-gender litter cost will also still be required, if applicable. If the father is joined at a later time, the cost of whatsoever special traits that apply to him/her will be applied to him/her at that time.
If you would like to join a character already pregnant,
please do not make your own stats!! If you would like specific stats that are not necessarily covered by bloodlines, points, etcetera, especially if it's central to a plot of yours, don't hesitate to speak up to the admin or statters! If you asked someone else to make stats for you and would like to use those, please contact us with a way to get in contact with your statter, so that we can verify they provided stats for you and are alright with these stats being used on Vanguard.
